Can I ship my pet myself?

If your pet is under 100lbs with the kennel weight and you are coming from the USA and going to Japan or vice versa it Is very possible to go through the commercial airlines to ship your pet as accompanied baggage if you are on military orders.

What is the difference between accompanied and unaccompanied service?

Our accompanied service means that one of our staff would be on the flight that your pet is on. What this means is less time for your pet in the crate since we can hold them longer before checking in and they come out faster to us because we have Diamond status. Accompanied service is usually to and from the USA to Japan, Hawaii and sometimes other parts of the world.

Unaccompanied cargo is where we utilize the airlines cargo services to get your pets to where they need to go. There is no passenger linked to your pet’s ticket. Unaccompanied cargo is usually reserved for pets weighing more than 110lbs with the kennel weight, exotic pets or pets traveling to parts of the world that require them to enter as cargo.

Where does my pet travel while flying?

Your pet will travel in what is called the cargo hold. This section is pressurized and climate- controlled. Baggage handlers typically strap animal crates in place and may wrap them with perforated air cushions rolls. In many planes, the baggage area takes up the level directly beneath the passenger cabins.
